Drugs seized in Whiteabbey

The arrest came after a notable amount of the class B drug was found in a car in the Shore Road area of Newtownabbey earlier in the evening.

The find gave grounds for a search of an address in Whiteabbey, where more drugs were discovered.

Chief Inspector Stephen Reid from the PSNI has urged the public to contact the police if they suspect drug misuse in their area.

“If you have any concerns about drug misuse of supply in your community, please contact police on the 101 non-emergency number, or you can provide information in confidence via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111,” he said.
