The theft happened earlier this month, but the PSNI only released details of the incident on Thursday, January 16.

Sometime between Friday, January 3 and Monday, January 6 a number of unknown persons forced the roller shutter doors of an agricultural services business near Ballycraigy.

The thieves made off with a number of electronic items and boxes containing the drug Propofol, in liquid form. The boxes are white with green labels and are clearly marked as drugs.

“This drug may prove dangerous if used without medical supervision and police advise that all drugs should only be used when prescribed by a medical practitioner,” a PSNI spokesperson warned.

Investigating officers have appealed for anyone with information about the burglary to contact them at Newtownabbey CID on 0845 600 8000.
