Drugs worth £600k seized
Detectives from PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch seized £600,000 worth of cannabis in the Carrickfergus area yesterday.
Six men aged 65, 49, 48, 41, 32 and 32 were also arrested and are currently assisting police with enquiries at Antrim Serious Crime Suite.
“This is the latest example of police determination to reduce the threat posed by drugs to communities in Northern Ireland and to apprehend those individuals who seek to make profits from a trade in illegal drugs,” said Detective Chief Inspector Todd Clements.
