Drumachose Manseis for demolitionand replacement

An application has been received for the demolition of the existing dwelling at 56 Killane Road.

The plan envisages the manse’s replacement with a new energy efficient dwelling in a traditional style.

Existing trees and shrubs on the Killane Road site - adjacent to the Limavady recreation club - will remain in place and the lopping of branches will only take place to prevent overshadong of a sunroom on the premises, according to documents submitted with the planners.

The work will be conducted on behalf of the Trustees of the Congregation of Drumachose Presbyterian Church.

Notification letters of the intention to demolish and rebuild the manse have been issued to neighbours.

The application is dated from May 23.
