Drumahoe WI
President Hilary McClean welcome Drumahoe WI members to the April Meeting. A new member Stella Lees was also welcomed.
The guest speakers were Uel Hamilton, Pat Carlin and Jemma Hunter from the Foyle Search and Rescue, who demonstrated some of their equipment giving us an insight into the great work they do on the River Foyle rescuing people who are suicidal.
The men and women who do this are all volunteers and are to be admired for this worthwhile job.
The Competition ‘An Old Cure’ was won by Hilary McClean.
Supper brought a most interesting evening to a close.
