David has been running an Organic farm since 1986. His farm has gone from strength to strength and he now supplies organic products to many of our local Supermarkets.

Members learned that his animals are fed on organic grass and grain. He uses his farmyard manure to fertilise the fields and grows his own clover.

Many questions were asked and these were ably answered by our Speaker.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs Hilary McClean.

The competition for a suitable Valentine Verse was won by Margaret Deans, with Daisy Mawhinney second and Edna Cunningham third.
