Drumbeg W.I’s million dollar style
THERE was a happy atmosphere as Drumbeg Women’s Institute ladies met for the first meeting of the season in September.
Incoming President Doris Campbell welcomed everyone and introduced guest speaker, style consultant Christine Rankin. Christines’ talk was entitled ‘Million Dollar Style.’ She talked the ladies through keeping their wardrobe up to date and functional and stressed the importance of accessorizing with interesting jewellery, scarves and handbags.
The competition for a pretty scarf was won by Helen Wilson with Hazel Ervine and Molly Craig taking second and thirrd places. Kathleen Kerr was the ballot winner.
