Duck race success in Castledawson

Congrats to the winners of the annual duck race which was held by St Malachy’s Camogie Club last Wednesday night.

While the Moyola River was running very low, it did not deter many from taking part in this fun event.

In first place was Katie Cushley, second Ciaron Lavery and third Adrian Dillon.

The Camogie Club would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who sold ducks and to the fishermen of Moyola Angling Club who very kindly gave their time to help make the duck race such a success.

And, it is pointed out that limited tee times are now left for the clubs fundraising golf day which is taking place on Friday, August 15 at Moyola Park.
