Dungannon couple admit cosmetics theft worth over £300

A couple have appeared at East Tyrone Magistrates Court charged with the theft of cosmetic goods from a Dungannon pharmacy store worth over £300.

Indre Stribiene, (34), and Ramunas Stirbys, (36), both of whose address was given as Lambfield Meadows, Dungannon are each charged with three counts of theft.

The charges were read to the couple, and through the use of an interpretor, both replied ‘guilty’ to the charges.

The theft is alleged to have occurred on March 3 at Boots, Dungannon.

The cosmetics stolen were valued at a total of £343 or thereabouts.

District Judge John Meehan ordered a pre-sentence report to be prepared by probation services following the defendant’s guilty pleas to the offences.

The case was adjourned to April 23 this year, when the couple will be sentenced at East Tyrone Magistrates Court.
