Gary Currie has been carrying out mainly corporate orders over the last two years after he started up Dun Ri Glassware in Edendork.

The establishment of Gary’s company was hailed for breathing new life into the once vibrant Dungannon glass manufacturing industry, which had suffered the loss of the globally recognised Tyrone Crystal some years before.

And Gary’s hard work appears to be paying off, with the announcement that Dun Ri has been granted the contract to produce a bespoke range of awards for Irish TV.

It is understood the awards will be presented to the winners of the broadcaster’s Country Music Prizegiving later this year.

Speaking of the contract, Gary’s wife Ciara told the Times: “We are really delighted to have been awarded the Irish TV contract for the second year now. Gary works mainly on corporate pieces and has finished a contract for the Bertie Fisher night at Armagh City Hotel. It is really starting to pick up for him.”
