Dungannon INF mourn passing of '˜true gent'

A long standing member of the Irish National Foresters in Dungannon has died.

Pat McGurgan had played an active role in Dungannon Branch 169 for many years.

Social media tributes have described him as “a true gentleman.”

One posted: “Very sad to hear that Pat (such a true gentleman)has passed away....Mike, Cora and all the family send their condolences to all the family at this very sad time.”

Another said: “Rip Pat. A true gent many a good nites crack at the darts”

He is survived by his wife Margaret, and family Derek, Brian, Emmett, Martin, Alison and Sean.

His funeral will leave his late residence, 59 Windmill Drive on Thursday at 9.15am to St. Patrick’s Church, Dungannon for 10am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Carland Road cemetery.
