Dungannon motorist caught using mobile phone claimed he was rubbing his sore ear
Three penalty points and a fine of £100 were handed down at the East Tyrone Magistrates Court on a Dungannon motorist caught using a mobile phone.
Mark Kelly, 28,from Curran Terrace, was stopped by police on the Trewmount Road, Moy, on July 8.
A defence solicitor stated that Kelly had an ear infection, on this occasion the defendant’s ear was throbbing and he was simply rubbing it.
