Dungannon police issue warning after youths reported throwing fireworks at Free Methodist Church

Dungannon police have issued a warning in response to reports of youths throwing fireworks in the town and neighbouring villages.

Members of the public have complained about teenagers throwing the explosives at the Free Methodist Church on Cunningham’s Lane, and in the Annagole area over the weekend.

Police said they had received a number of complaints in the past week.

“Police patrols are monitoring the area for this activity, so you have been warned”, said a spokesperson on social media.

“Remember to keep within the law - all fireworks require a licence, with the exception of sparklers and indoor fireworks.
