Dunloy Comhaltas - continuing to make music

John and Sinead were two of the first tutors along with Tommy McGoldrick and Ronnie Bamber when Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, Dunloy started Traditional Music Classes in 1976.

Musicians from many other Comhaltas branches in Antrim and Derry came to join in the celebrations and The Ferris School of Dancing entertained the crowd with a display of jigs and reels.

The Traditional Music Classes are moving to the newly refurbished Parish Centre in September where Comhaltas will have the use of designated rooms with new, modern facilities. The prefab building will be removed over the summer months.

Dunloy Comhaltas would like to thank all the musicians, singers and dancers who took part in the closing seisiún. It proves that the parish and region is bursting with talent and culture.
