“Stepping in to David Simpson’s shoes as the MLA for Upper Bann was a big task, but I am glad that I have continued in David’s path of working hard for the people of Upper Bann,” he said.

“I am grateful for the opportunity I have been given to contest this important election and I hope that the people will rally to our values of hard-work on the ground and delivery through devolution”, he added.

Congratulating Sydney Anderson and Stephen Moutray, First Minister and DUP leader Peter Robinson said, “Sydney and Stephen are two hard-working and conscientious Assembly Members with a proven track record of hard work on behalf of their constituents. “I urge everyone in Upper Bann to support Stephen and Sydney and then to transfer their votes to other Unionists,” he added.
