DUP man condemns ‘attempt to divide community’

DUP councillor Phillip Brett has condemned those responsible for daubing sectarian graffiti on a sign close to Glengormley town centre.

The sectarian slur ‘HUN HOLE’ was written on the ‘Welcome to Glengormley’ sign near the Bellevue Bridge sometime over the weekend (October 4 - 6).

Councillor Brett condemned the graffiti as “offensive” and described it as “an attempt to demonise and divide the local community”.

He thanked council staff who acted swiftly to remove the graffiti.
