Commenting at the launch Lord Morrow said, “This is an excellent slate of candidates who can deliver for their areas and ensure that their constituents are properly represented. With the new structures in local government, it is vital that unionism has its strongest team in the new council speaking up for their communities. Each of these candidates has a track record of hard work and delivery on the ground.

“In a local government election every vote counts as many seats are decided on transfers. If anyone is not on the register they should contact their local DUP representative. People should also be considering if they will need a postal or proxy vote for May 22nd.”
