Eamon Friel returns to Playhouse

The popular presenter, musician and singer/songwriter will return to The Playhouse on Saturday, December 3 to perform old and new songs.

As well as songs from his eagerly awaited new album due out in spring, he will also perform songs from his smash hit comedy musical ‘The Music Makers’, which opened rapturous applause and packed houses in November 2010.

“It’s been a busy year since my last concert at The Playhouse!” Eamon said.

“I was delighted with the runaway success of ‘The Music Makers;’ and I’m looking forward the musical being reprised at The Playhouse for 2013. Songs from the musical will be included in the concert as well as old and new songs that I relishes most!

“The well known writer, musician, performer and presenter has also been busy working on a new musical set in Irish legend.

“I’ve been trying to make it deeply significant and tragic but it’s turning into another comedy I’m afraid!” he said.
