East End win Ballyrashane Cup

EAST End are this year's Ballyrashane Cup winners.

A six goal thriller at Coleraine Showgrounds on Saturday, saw East End clinching victory over Ballymoney side Manor Thistle.

Ricky Close, David Patton and Chris Donnell each grabbed a brace each in the tie, which ended 6-1.

Trevor Parkhill scored a consolation goal for Manor Thistle.

The presentation took place in the Social Club after the final when the victorious East End were presented with the Ballyrashane Cup.

Speaking on behalf of Coleraine FC, Hugh Wade congratulated the winners and thanked organisers Tommy Doherty and Jimmy Alexander for their ‘hard work and effort’.

There was a special mention for Cup organiser, Tommy Doherty who was thanked by the teams for his dedication to the tournament.
