Easter is the theme for special tea dance

The popular weekly Tea Dance that takes place in the Sarah Crothers Hall and organised by the Beechland Community Group is holding a Daffodil Tea Dance on Thursday 17th April at 2.00pm in the Community Hall on Beechland Drive.

The Community Group who took over the running of the Tea Dance last September held a Fancy Dress Tea Dance at Halloween and were delighted with the success so have organised this latest special dance.

At the Dance there will be an Easter Bonnet competition for both men and women with prizes awarded for the best ladies bonnet and best man’s hat on view. The judge for the competition will be Councillor Alan Carlisle. Entrance to the Tea Dance is £2.50 payable at the door.
