Easter pop-up store hatches in Larne

Mid and East Antrim Borough councillors have approved a pop-up shop initiative which will run from March 21-April 2 in Larne.

The scheme is designed to provide local entrepreneurs with the opportunity to trade over Easter in temporary premises secured by Council to minimise the financial risk of investigating the potential of their business idea.

It is hoped that the scheme will provide a realistic opportunity for these businesses to consider the viability of a long-term future within town centre retail.

The Larne premises has a strong culinary and crafts feel with Café Riva providing an Italian-inspired delicatessen range and hand-crafted bakery products, Makey Bakey offering a fresh gluten—free take on delicious sweet treats, and The Wee Wooden Company providing hand-crafted wooden furniture and giftware ideas. The shop at 63 Main Street is open from 10am–4pm daily.
