Easter shows at Planetarium
In the Planetarium’s Digital Theatre you can relax and experience our planet and beyond; take a tour of the night sky, or even discover some of the myths behind the star constellations such as Orion.
You can also explore the exhibition areas using interactive displays to learn more about the cosmos.

You can also check out the Mars room, view the 3D shows or touch the largest meteorite on display in Ireland which is an amazing 4.6 billion years old.
You can also see scale models of probes which include Viking and orbiting structures such as the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope.
The planetarium also run hourly science workshops where you can volunteer to participate in activities such as electricity and magnetism.
You can also have a stroll around the Astropark, which displays a scale model of the Universe where visitors can walk through the Solar System into the Milky Way and beyond; or why not try some astronaut ice cream from our gift shop?
Easter opening times are from Monday 5 to Saturday 10.
