Easter Sunday: Delays in Portrush

Police are advising the public that delays may be possible in and around the Portrush area on Easter Sunday.

Inspector Ian Magee explains: “Generally traffic in the town is busier over holiday periods and with a car cruise planned for Sunday we are advising residents and visitors to expect some delays.

“The cruise is expected to start around midday however traffic will be busy from the morning time right through to the evening. Parking spaces will be in high demand therefore anyone planning to visit the town should strongly consider making use of public transport.
