Education Minister visits St John’s

Education Minister JOhn O’Dowd visited St John’s Primary School in Coleraine last week.

Sinn Féin Councillor Ciarán Archibald was delighted to have been invited to the school for the visit.

The minister’s visit coincided with the launch of the school website and also celebrated a number of recent projects to enhance the learning experiences of the children of the school.

Councillor Archibald said: “I was extermely pleased to have been invited to St Johns for the minister’s visit.

“My four children and also my wife are past pupils, so I have strong personal link to the school.”

Mr Archibald added, “I am delighted to see the school continue to develop and the funding of projects to enhance the experience of the pupils is an important part of that.

“The launch of the school website is a signifcant addition which will enable better communication with parents and the wider community.”
