ONE-FIVE-EIGHT was the highest checkout from last Thursdays darts and this came from Brian Watson, of the Rising Sun Top Flight team. There were also good checkouts from Liam Millar of Gort Na Drum and Davy O’Hara from Riverside Bar A, both on 121.

The best leg of darts went to David O’Hara from the Riverside Bar A with a a fantastic 12 dart leg. This was closely followed by Colin Maxwell (McKeevers) with 14 darts and a second leg in 18 darts. The other good legs were Brian Murray (Riverside Bar A) 15 darts, Michael McCloskey (Rising Sun top flight) 19 darts and Paul Brown (Rising Sun top flight) 21 darts.

There were two maximum scores of 180 scored by Niall Logue of McKeevers and his team-mate Colin Maxwell.

The results from League Game no 14 were Donaghys B 1-12 Riverside A, Longfield B 3-11 Rising Sun Top Flight, McKeevers 10-3 Gort Na Drum, Rising Sun 6-9 Donaghys A, Riverside Bar B 10-5 Longfield A and no scoresheets were given for the Sportsman Inn vs Eglinton Cricket Club.

This Thursday nights league action is as follows: Donaghys A vs Riverside Bar B; Eglinton Cricket Club vs McKeevers; Gort Na Drum vs Donaghys B; Longfield A vs Rising Sun; Rising Sun top flight vs Sportsman Inn and Riverside Bar A vs Longfield B.

McKeevers are top of the league afer this Thursdays results with 142 points having played fourteen games, closely followed by the Rising Sun Top Flight on 138 points having played the same number of games.

Last Saturday nights bonus ball was the rollover no 9 so next week’s winner will receive 50.

This Saturday the annual Charlie Wright pairs will be held in the Drummond Hotel, Ballykelly with a 12:30pm start and the entrance fee for Mens, Ladies and Mixed Pairs is 10 per pair.

This Sunday 31st January, the annual Charlie Gaile Memorial will be held in the Drummond Hotel, Ballykelly with a 12:30pm start and the entrance fee for Mens individuals is 10, Ladies 7 and Youths 3.
