Eglinton pitches set for 3G treatment
PRIVATE football pitches in Eglinton are set for a major revamp that will include the development of a new state-of-the-art 3G playing surface and new flood lighting.
Plans have been lodged for the modernisation of the pitches on the main Londonderry to Limavady Road 150metres east of the junction of Clooney Road and Airfield Road.
The plans include the provision of a 3G synthetic playing surface on the existing playing field, flood lighting, new changing facilities to replace existing temporary facilities and additional car parking.
