Eglinton WI
President Irene Boggs welcomed members to the January meeting of Eglinton WI.
After business was conducted Karen introduced the panel of guests, Maureen Craig, Frankie McClintock, Peter Sheridan and Father Noel McDermott. A lighthearted series of questions were asked by members and answered with great wit and humour by the panel.
Everyone then enjoyed a lovely supper.
The monthly competition, for the best New Year’s Resolution, was won by Mona Carroll with runners-up Ethel Boggs and Mena Moore.
The evening ended with A Countrywoman’s Song.
