Eircom to expand IP network to include Mid Ulster
Major businesses in Magherafelt, Cookstown, Dungannon and Omagh are set to benefit following the announcement that eircom Business Solution NI plans to extend its next generation IP network to a further 13 towns by the end of 2015.
Once work completes later this year, 22 large towns across Northern Ireland will be on the eircom network representing a total investment by the company of over £18m in the area.
General Manager at eircom Business Solutions NI, Darren Lemon, said: “Our continued network expansion across all areas of Northern Ireland will ensure that we can continue to improve value for our customers.
“Our aim is to give large and medium-sized enterprise businesses the right platform and the time to create new digital services.
