Elderly woman killed in Sixmilecross crash

An elderly woman has died after a two vehicle crash at the Cloughfin Road in Sixmilecross on the evening of Tuesday 6th May.

At around 6pm a collision occurred between a silver coloured Volkswagen Jetta and a grey Seat Leon at the junction of the Cloughfin Road and the Whitebridge Road.

An elderly woman passenger died in hospital a short time later due to injuries sustained in the collision. The road remains closed at this time and police would ask anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them in Omagh on the non-emergency number 101.
