Witnesses have told police they saw two males acting suspiciously at various properties in Killowen Park around 1pm. One was described as wearing a dark denim shirt and the other wearing a baseball cap. They were observed driving off in a black car.

Police believe they are also linked to another incident around 2.45pm on the same day when a house alarm was activated after two males who had been using a black Renault Megane attempted to gain entry to a property in the Mullaghcarton Road area.

Officers in Lisburn are appealing to anyone who may have seen a black Renault Megane style car in the area or who can help with descriptions of the two males involved or give a registration number of the vehicle to get in touch.

They are also urging anyone who sees any activity involving a vehicle or persons as described acting suspiciously in your area and contact police if concerned.
