Election: Kearney hands in nomination papers

Sinn Féin Chairperson Declan Kearney has lodged his nomination papers to contest the upcoming Assembly elections for a seat in South Antrim.

Mr Kearney said that over the past few years the Sinn Féin vote in South Antrim has grown, adding his confidence that the party will build on this success.

“Sinn Féin will fight the election in protecting our most vulnerable people against the ravages of the Tory welfare cuts, and on the continuing campaign of promoting equality and bringing change to people’s lives,” Mr Kearney said.
