Her sponsored haircut three weeks ago is about to hit the £3,000 mark; she only needs another £80. That’s nearly enough money for the Little Princess Trust to buy nine wigs for children dealing with hair loss due to the effects of cancer treatment, and it is three times what Emma had hoped she would raise when she decided to get her hair cut on march 7.

A delighted Emma, who now sports a stylish asymmetric bob after cutting off around 10 inches of her hair in a sponsored hair cut in memory of her friend Leah Whyte, who sadly lost her life at the age of 16, who died in January despite a successful bone marrow transplant.

“I want to be able to help children who are going through the same horrible cancer treatment that Leah had to endure, and provide them with a real-hair wig to put a smile on their face,” said Emma, adding: “I would love to reach the £3000 mark now! Amazing, thank you all so, so much.”
