Endeavourers enjoy annual talent show

COMPETITORS from the Larne area were among those who took part in the Irish Christian Endeavour Union’s talent contest finals, held in Carrickfergus Methodist Church.

Competitors, leaders, parents and friends were welcomed by the church’s minister, Rev Aian Ferguson who opened in prayer. Mr Ferguson’s daughter, Mrs Gillian Thompson, the Irish CE Union president, presented the cups and certificates to the prizewinners. Also helping at the event, was the local CE Union president, Mrs Belinda Gage who had organised the East Antrim heats.

Irish Union Junior convenor, Mrs Rosemary Carson, assisted by Caroline Edgar organised the contest finals.
