Endeavourers look forward to Irish Convention

CHRISTIAN Endeavourers, past and present, throughout Ireland, are already looking forward to the 96th Irish National Christian Endeavour Convention.

It will be held on September 17 and 18, 2010 in Fivemiletown Methodist Church - the first time the annual event has been held there. The town is ideal venue for many travelling from a distance as it is on the main Belfast/ Enniskillen Express bus route and the church is only a matter of yards from the bus stop.

The Revd Paul Ritchie from Richhill will speak on the theme, ‘One God, One Family’.

Gillian Ferguson, a leader of Carrickfergus Methodist Juniors and currently East Antrim Christian Endeavour Union’s President, will be installed as Irish Union President.

Preparations are already well underway and the Convention Planning Committee are organising activities for all - Juniors, Young People/Young Adults and Seniors. Delegates are expected from throughout Ireland and further afield.
