Engaging pupils through sport
The Glengormley-based ORNE Community Partnership completed its Schools Engagement Programme last week, with P6 and P7 pupils from four schools participating in two fun days at Ballysillan Leisure Centre.
More than 200 pupils from schools including St Bernard’s PS and Glengormley Integrated took part in the event, which included a series of joint rugby and Gaelic football coaching sessions.
Four more schools are lined up for the next phase of the programme in September.
