Enjoy Living History at Gracehill's Village 'Open Day'

Gracehill, the first site in Northern Ireland to be designated a Conservation Area, will host a village "open day" on Saturday, September 11.

The event has been organised to coincide with one of the European Heritage Days.

This year the theme will be Education. Living history presentations will depict life in Gracehill in 1810 as

Living History Presentation in the Old School - Presentations by Northern Period Productions will take place at 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm.

Tours of former Single Brethren Home (now a private residence not normally open to the public); Self guided tours of the Village – free guides at the Old School; “Country Markets” group (crafts and home baking and teas); Village Quiz organised by Environmental Committee

Admission to the event is free.and has been supported by Ballymena Borough Council
