Enterprise course helps Darren to gain work

DARREN Caulfield, from Larne, has managed to gain work after enrolling on the Exploring Enterprise programme run by Ledcom.

He said he would thoroughly recommend the free course, adding: “I gained my Certificate in Business Enterprise, which I am delighted about, and my CV has really been improved.

“The programme was very well structured and I got terrific support from the trainers and mentors during and after.”

The course, which takes place over eight mornings, is aimed at improving employment prospects; gaining the recognised Business Enterprise qualification; and providing an opportunity to meet new friends and have fun.

Four new programmes are due to start next month at:

- Craigyhill Community Hall at St. Anthony’s on Monday February 1;

- Ledcom, Willowbank Business Park, Millbrook, on Wednesday 10;

- Glenlough Community Centre, Carnlough, on Thursday 11;

- Carrickfergus Enterprise Centre, Thursday 11.

To register, attend the Londonderry Arms Hotel, Carnlough, next Wednesday (January 13) at 11.00am, or contact Patricia or Anne at Ledcom by ringing 028 2827 0742, or email either [email protected] or [email protected]

The Exploring Enterprise programme is funded by the Department of Employment and Learning (European Social Fund) through Enterprise Northern Ireland, with match-funding from Larne Borough Council.
