Entertainment for Irish Open

PORTRUSH is set to enjoy a fantastic line-up of entertainment during the Irish Open.

Evening entertainment in the town will include themed nights including jazz, local culture and family events.

Details emerged during Coleraine Council’s Policy and Development Committee meeting when members were updated on plans for the Irish Open week.

With an estimated 103,000 people attending the tournament, Council is working on providing evening entertainment from 6 - 9 pm.

They are also considering providing additional catering outlets at Kerr Street gardens and Antrim Gardens in the resort.

A window dressing competition will also be run in the town, encouraging traders and businesses to embrace the tournament.
