Entries sought for ‘Made in NI’ awards

An awards ceremony celebrating the best local products, services and produce in Northern Ireland has been launched.

The Made In Northern Ireland Awards will acknowledge and honour 23 local companies throughout a thriving industry of locally made products and services.

Hosted by UK-wide leading publisher Johnston Press the Made In Northern Ireland Awards will “give local businesses that make and produce products or services locally, the opportunity to be recognised for the valuable contribution they make from their base in Northern Ireland to industry on the local, national and international business stages” said Richard Sherriff Business Correspondent.

He added: “Through these awards we are seeking to recognise the businesses that make this country such a great asset in the business market worldwide.”

The Made in Northern Ireland Awards will provide an excellent opportunity for businesses to showcase their exceptional work throughout sectors such as construction, food and drink, manufacturing, arts and entertainment, tourism and leisure, pharmaceuticals and much more.”

The awards are organised by Johnston Press title the News Letter.

The Awards which will be held at the Ramada Plaza on Thursday May 21st.

Guests and shortlisted entrants will be treated to a gala black-tie dinner showcasing home grown and reared local produce.
