A true ‘ugly duckling’
WE all know the story of the ugly duckling that turned into the swan.
Well here we have the tale of the swan (well cygnet actually) that turned ugly on the duckling.
‘MAIL’ editor Clint Aiken captured this moment in Lurgan Park on Friday - the bell you hear is to cover Mrs Aiken using less than polite language at the cygnet responsible. For those who can’t quite make out what’s going on, the cygnet is giving chase to one of the ducklings as they swim past.
Over the past week we have received a number of calls about this family of ducks and Graeme Cousins brings us a nice - pun filled - tale in this week’s print edition of the ‘MAIL’.
