Bin collection delays in Carrickfergus and Larne

Mid and East Antrim householders are advised to keep their bins out after the cold snap disrupted the collection service.

A council spokesperson said: “We have been notified by our Waste team that there have been problems with the bin collections in the following areas:

Carrickfergus - Upper Woodburn Road, Liberty Road and Cairn Road. The team will attempt collection on Thursday 28 or Friday 29 January.

“Larne - Ballycarry and outskirts, Gleno and outskirts, Raloo and outskirts, parts of Islandmagee, Ballyboley, Lower Millbrook and Deerpark.

“The team will attempt collection on Wednesday 27 January. Please keep bins presented.”
