Causeway Coast & Glens Council approves £1.29m PEACEPLUS funding for Girona Coastal Path project
Plans to enhance the Girona Coastal Path in Portballintrae are moving forward.
Causeway Coast and Glens Council have approved the progression to Stage 2 (full design and build), supported by £1.291 million in indicative PEACEPLUS funding.
The project will deliver upgrades to the Causeway Coastal Path, improving accessibility while showcasing the village’s unique heritage and coastal setting.
Led by the PEACEPLUS Partnership, the scheme will now progress through the remaining capital stages. Completion timelines for the project will be confirmed as the project develops.
