Jonathan Wilson, from Council’s Technical Services told The Times: “Council received 100 percent funding through the ‘Think Waste Campaign’ to facilitate a home composting pilot scheme in selected areas across the Borough.

“The aim of this project is to encourage residents to proactively reduce their green waste, such as their grass and vegetable peelings. This will result in less green waste going to landfill sites.”
