Members of popular running club joined with the County Antrim Countryside Custodians on the project.

The ‘Big Green Clean, which took place March 13-31, saw Harriers and families donning high-vis vests and protective gloves.

Armed with litter-pickers, collectively they lifted all manner of items from roads and verges including bottles, scratch cards, fast-food bags, face masks, plastic sheets, plates, tumblers and the odd steering wheel cover.
