Final preparations for Mourne Mountain Rescue Team’s anniversary

The evening will commence with a ‘Black Velvet’ drinks reception of champagne and Guinness followed by a sumptuous four course meal.

Guest speaker Dermot Somers will entertain those attending with his enlightening presentation on his adventures down the years.

Following on from the speakers and audio visual presentations guests will be treated to a musical masterpiece by ‘Bearneagh, a local Traditional Irish Band who will raise the roof with jigs and reels culminating in a rousing rendition of ‘Where the Mountains of Mourne Sweep Down to the Sea’.

Were you a past member of the team? We would love to have you along to celebrate this historic milestone in the Team’s history. This evening of celebration is the perfect chance to meet past and current team members, see and hear how the team has developed over the years and raise much needed funds and awareness of the team.
