Gleno Waterfall carpark reopens

The carpark at Gleno Waterfall has been reopened by the National Trust.

The east Antrim beauty spot has been closed to visitors as part of measures to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Gleno Waterfall, outside Larne, is managed by the National Trust and is part of the official Causeway Coastal Driving Route.

The National Trust says: “We have limited spaces, so if the car park is full please come back another time.

“We’re reopening the places you love, gradually, safely and in line with government advice. ​

“From 3 June, we’re opening a small number of gardens and parklands in England and Northern Ireland through advance bookings.

“We can’t open everywhere at once and we’ll open more places in the coming weeks. ”

Meanwhile, Mid and East Antrim Council has announced that bowling greens will reopen on June 1.
