Householders to get their new bins

ALL remaining households in the district that are still awaiting delivery of the new green bin should receive them by Friday March 23.

Householders are advised to contact Banbridge District Council on 4066 0604 if they are still without a green bin after this date.

The first collections of the green bin for households in Zone B areas start on Monday April 2 whereas collections for households in Zone A start on Monday April 9.

Householders should also receive a new waste collection calendar and recycle guide for the year ahead telling you if your house is located in zone A or B.

A council spokesperson said, “Refer to your new waste collection calendar for further details on collection dates or read the guide included in the information pack that arrived with the green bin for details on how the new scheme will work along with what goes in the bin.”
