Mid and East Antrim recycling centre opening days update

In a social media post today (Wednesday) a council spokesperson said: “A number of key workers have told us that they find it difficult to get to our Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) during the working week, so we are trying to accommodate this by adding an additional opening day at our two busiest recycling centres.

“Our HRCs at Sullatober, Carrickfergus, and Waveney Road, Ballymena, will now also be open on Saturdays from 9am until 5pm.

“Please note: we are monitoring the demand for additional opening in Larne and review it on a weekly basis.”
