Reminder over Christmas bin collection dates in Mid and East Antrim

Black/blue/brown bins: There will be normal collection December 24 in Ballymena and Carrickfergus. Bins due for collection in Larne on December 24 will be collected on December 19.

Bins due for collection on December 25 will be collected on December 26 in Ballymena, December 21 in Larne, and December 19 in Carrickfergus.

Bins due for collection on January 1 will be collected on January 2 in Ballymena, January 4 in Larne, and January 2 in Carrickfergus.

Kerbside boxes (Carrickfergus and Ballymena): There will be normal collection on December 24.

Boxes due to be emptied on December 25 will be emptied on December 27.

There will be no kerbside box collection on Boxing Day, December 26, and normal collection on December 28.

Collections due on January 1 will take place on January 2.

“Please remember to set your bins / boxes out by 7.30am. Please also remember to sort your recycling from your general waste, using the boxes provided (Ballymena and Carrickfergus areas) or blue bins provided (Larne area),” Mid and East Antrim Council said.
