Safety campaign

With the summer holidays upon us, ‘Kidzsafe’, NIE’s education initiative, has issued a timely reminder to kids.

Children are advised never to bring an object close to, or throw an object at, overhead lines.

They are warned not to climb on substation to retrieve a toy or football. No toy is worth risking a life.

If anything makes contact with an overhead line, do not try to retrieve it – contact NIE immediately on 08457 643 643.
